Well begun is half done, As Mahatma Gandhi once remarkably said “Education ought to develop a person's mind and soul; simple learning just to read and write is not education. “ With this thought in my mind, and passion in my heart, I founded Stepping Stone Academy in 2011. Since its inception, it has been a relentless pursuit to provide world class infrastructure in our ruraI setting which inherently compliments and fosters a holistic development for every pupil.
We feel proud to introduce ourselves as ”Stepping Stone Academy” a venture of Khushi Educational & Welfare Society, registered under Society Registration Act, 1860, which came into existence in 2007.

Stepping Stone Academy is equipped with a library, which includes books from all around the world. We consciously pays almost equal attention to both English and Hindi languages. In the current scenario, India is facing the daunting challenges to keep abreast with the fast pace of technological upgradation. We all consider education is a paramount importance to come to our rescue. Of late there has been a mushroom growth in educational institutions trying to capitalize the opportunity that is available in modern India.
The challenge surrounding rural India is an extreme poverty giving birth to illiteracy. It seems to have turned into a vicious cycle.
Our school is trying to break that by providing the best education in the society. That is why we choose Bihar as our working place to begin with. Although Bihar has produced some jewels in the form of late Sri Rajendra Prasad (1st President of India), he struggled due to lack of resources.
Rohtas being a prominent district and Turkwaliya village besides Rajpur-Mouna-nasriganj road gave us what we are today. Under the blessing of International famed academicians we, a bunch of candid professionals equipped with all modern facilities where we intend to impart not only education but also a feeling of spiritual well being which is necessary for a healthy society.

Co-Curricular activities at our school have always been encouraged by us so as to push forward and help the children into maximizing their potential and giving them wings to a limitless flight. Our school boasts of multiple digital classes, a voluminous library and separate labs for each of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer and Math. Non academically speaking, we take huge pride in plethora of sporting options we provide such as Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Boxing, Athletics etc.
The Stepping Stone Academy family has grown from its beginning strength of two hundred students to more than one thousand students, which speaks of the faith that the guardians have restored in us.
